Hokkaido Classic Golf Club is one of Japan’s most exclusive and highly regarded golf courses, located in Abira, approximately 20 minutes from New Chitose Airport and around one hour from Sapporo. Designed by Jack Nicklaus and opened in 1991, the course was inspired by Nicklaus’ own Muirfield Village Golf Club in Ohio and is widely considered one of his finest designs in Asia. Set amongst mature oak forests, the course combines strategic architecture with the natural beauty of Hokkaido’s countryside.
