Home / United Kingdom / Scotland / The 155th Open at St Andrews 2027
The 155th Open Championship will be played from 11–18 July 2027 at the iconic Old Course, St Andrews, in Scotland – celebrated worldwide as the Home of Golf. No other venue carries the same heritage: golf has been played across these links for over 600 years, and The Open has returned here more than 30 times, more than any other course on the rota. Over the centuries, St Andrews has staged many of golf’s greatest moments. From Bobby Jones’ centenary triumph in 1927 to the unforgettable victories of Jack Nicklaus, Seve Ballesteros, and Tiger Woods, legends of the game have cemented their place in history on these hallowed fairways. The Old Course is revered for its unique challenges: rolling fairways shaped by the land, cavernous bunkers, and world-famous landmarks like the Road Hole and the Swilcan Bridge. For golf fans, The Old Course represents the ultimate championship test and a true bucket-list experience.
