Las Brisas de Chicureo – Valle Course is located in Colina, around 30 minutes north of Santiago, in the picturesque Chicureo Valley at the foothills of the Andes. Opened in 1997, it was the first course at the Las Brisas de Chicureo complex and was designed by the American firm Gage Davis and Associates, with C. Stuart Moore.
Playing to a par of 72 and measuring approximately 6,789 yards from the championship tees, the Valle Course offers a modern parkland layout that makes excellent use of the valley floor. Wide fairways provide generous landing areas, but strategically placed bunkers, water hazards and subtly contoured greens ensure accuracy and sound course management remain essential to scoring well.
With the dramatic Andes providing a stunning backdrop throughout the round, the course combines championship-quality golf with some of the finest scenery in the Santiago region. Its balanced design allows golfers of all abilities to enjoy the layout, offering enough forgiveness for higher handicappers while still presenting a rewarding challenge for accomplished players. As one of Chile’s premier modern golf courses, the Valle Course is renowned for its excellent conditioning, practice facilities and welcoming atmosphere. Whether played on its own or alongside the neighbouring Montaña Course, it offers a memorable golfing experience just a short drive from the Chilean capital.
The two courses at Las Brisas de Chicureo occupy rolling terrain in the Chicureo valley, with the Andes forming a constant backdrop to play. Both layouts were routed by Gage Davis and Associates with generous fairway corridors, giving the courses an open, resort-style character while still incorporating strategic bunkering and water hazards at key points.
The Montaña course is generally regarded as the more demanding of the two, with a routing that closes on a genuine risk-reward par five at the 18th. At 589 yards, the hole asks long hitters to consider going for the green in two, with water running down the left affecting both the approach and any recovery play. Wind direction plays a meaningful role here, with a left-to-right breeze bringing an out-of-bounds line on the right into consideration, adding a further tactical layer to the closing stretch.
Las Brisas de Chicureo offers a clubhouse with dining facilities, providing a full menu for members and visitors before and after their round. Locker rooms and changing facilities are available, including sauna access for adult members and guests.
The club supports golf development through a dedicated academy, led by teaching professionals who have coached players to success in national and international competition. Practice facilities include a driving range, giving golfers space to warm up or work on their game outside of a scheduled round. A separate 9-hole course caters specifically to junior and beginner golfers, allowing newer players to build skills away from the main Valle and Montaña layouts.
Beyond golf, the club maintains a broader recreational offering, including a swimming pool designed for both adults and children, and a spa facility providing body and facial treatments.
