The Dunes (Tom Doak, Mike Clayton)
Rated by Golf Digest as the World’s 16th Best Golf Course, Barnbougle’s The Dunes course is simply astonishing. Designed by Tom Doak and Mike Clayton, The Dunes course is truly spectacular with 18 holes of brilliance. Severe course undulations, tee-to-fairway wastelands and enormous bunkers, The Dunes is a challenging course subject to fierce winds. Visiting golfers frequently praise the natural layout of the land, well-maintained course and brilliant design.

Lost Farm (Coore & Crenshaw)
Rated in Golf Digest’s World Top 50 Courses, Barnbougle’s Lost Farm golf course was designed by Coore and Crenshaw company who are leading golf course architects and have designed other golf courses in the World Top 100. The course has 20 golf holes with an extra 13A and 18A (par-3’s) that provide six par-3’s on the course in total. Considered second-best of the two courses at Barnbougle, Lost Farm is full of sweeping fairways and rolling links land. Wedged between Forester River and the Bass Strait, the course is similar to Ireland’s Castle Rock golf course.
Bougle Run (Bill Coore)
Designed by Bill Coore of Coore & Crenshaw design (same designer of the Last Farm and Cabot Cliffs), the new Bougle Run golf course at Barnbougle Resort is a 14-hole short course. Designed to enhance the ‘Barnbougle’ experience, Bougle Run consists of twelve par-3’s and two par-4’s. The new course opened in March 2021, in the same style of the existing courses at Barnbougle: The Dunes and The Lost Farm. The short course can be played before or after your round on either of the two eighteen hole courses. It is a great way to warm up or settle bets between your golfing group.
