Golf Course Information

Etched into the side of a hill, La Reserva Club’s par 72 Championship golf course features various elevation changes throughout. With distant views over the Mediterranean Sea and nearby onsite villas, La Reserva’s golf course has wide, sweeping fairways that lead onto large greens with subtle and challenging undulations. The bunkers on the course are large and blend well with the immaculately clean fairways, whilst the native Spanish trees offer better scenery than challenges. Bodies of water add to the hazards found amongst the elevation changes and green undulations, but it also adds to the grandeur of the golf course.

The challenge that La Reserva brings to golfers of all abilities is a testament to Cabell B. Robinson’s innovative contemporary design techniques and influences of his old mentor Robert Trent Jones Senior. The elevation changes, green undulations and bunker placement make for an exhilarating round for the low handicappers, but the average golfer can have just as much fun because the fairways are generous, the cuts of grass lining the fairways and greens are not too dangerous, and the course has numerous sets of tees to choose from. The playability of La Reserva Golf Club is astonishing and automatically cements its place in the Sotogrande golf region.
