Golf Course Information

A classic parkland layout over mostly flat terrain, with towering mountains on one side gives a stadium-like atmosphere to a golf round at Westlake. The greens are made of Poa Annua which provides excellent putting surfaces year-round. Meticulous course conditions and a world-class irrigation system keep Westlake golf course green year-round. The fairways are lined sparsely with native Cape Pine trees, though with tight fairways, the low foliage on the trees make for some difficult recovery shots.

The Westlake Golf Club played host to the 1999 South African Open where hospitality and meticulous course conditions provided a fantastic week of golf in the Southern Cape. The golf course is welcoming to visitors of every ability and provides a fun round of golf at all times of the year.
