Golf Course Information

The Dumbarnie Links golf course appears like a centuries-old links golf course as old as the nearby Crail Golfing Society, The Fairmont St Andrews or Kingsbarns golf course, but lies on an extraordinary site. The links land on which Dumbarnie resides features dual elevations that are connected by a flowing escarpment and offer many elevated tees. The panoramic views offered around the golf course of the Firth of Forth are unbeatable with fourteen holes featuring ocean vistas. The golf course at Dumbarnie has all the hallmarks of championship quality with the course playable from measurements ranging between 5,300 to 6,900 yards. Tournaments can be played at the course with an additional twelve tee placements allowing the golf course to measure up to 7,600 yards and keeping with progressing golf advancements in equipment technology and golfer ability. 14 holes enjoy sea views over undulating land. The Clive Clark masterpiece that is Dumbarnie Links embodies pure links golf that provides a different experience with each round.

The links golf course features dry-stone fences, flowing pot bunkers that blend into fairways and frame plateaued greens with long runoff areas. Wastelands are comprised of tall fescue grass, while fairways are undulating like a true links golf course. The golf course occupies 345 acres of land with firm soil allowing fantastic golf year-round. Clive Clark’s links design at Scotland is set for a glimmering career in the golf world. He has designed over 30 golf courses in the world with many of them being the best in their areas as voted by Golf Digest and Golf Magazine. Dumbarnie Links is a special golf course that deserves to be on every travelling golfer’s Scotland itinerary, along with The Old Course and Kingsbarns.
