Deluxe Rooms at The Lake Spa Resort
Deluxe rooms come in three categories at The Lake Spa Resort: Garden View, Sea View or Panoramic Sea View. The amenities are the same with a complimentary Wi-Fi, a Nespresso coffee machine, contemporary furniture and private patio or balcony depending on which floor you are on. The bathroom has a separate shower to bathtub, and each room features luxurious toiletries, and a wide range of teas. The only thing left for you to decide upon is which view you want!
Suites at The Lake Spa Resort
Suites at The Lake Spa Resort have a total area of 69 square metres, with one large double bed with plush linen. The living room of suites includes a sofa bed for a third person. Suites come with an additional bathroom with shower, with a private balcony offering exclusive views of the Atlantic Ocean, the gardens, swimming pool and the Resort’s private lake. A Nespresso coffee machine, complimentary Wi-Fi, umbrellas (on request), and premium amenities will provide your golf holiday the added comforts of luxury with space to unpack and relax.
Apartments at The Lake Spa Resort
Apartments at The Lake Spa Resort in Vilamoura come with either 1 bedroom or two bedrooms and offer views of either the Resort or Atlantic Ocean, creating four different apartment categories. The Resort-view apartments offer 1-2 bedrooms, a living room, large balcony, fully furnished and equipped kitchen. It is ideal for longer-stay golfers who want to relax with more people in your group and spend less on meals out by cooking within your apartment at The Lake Spa Resort. Complimentary internet access and coffee machines are provided. Ocean-view apartments offer the same amenities but much better views over the beach and Atlantic Ocean.

Restaurante Gustatio
The Gustatio Restaurant at the 5-star Lap Spa Resort in Vilamoura was inspired by the Roman and Visigoth peoples who settled in the Vilamoura region. They left behind very distinct traces of their civilisation; the menu is inspired by these cultures with Gustatio (tasting) menus offered to patrons. The Gustatio restaurant is also the breakfast room that serves seasonal buffets.
Mare Nostrum Restaurant
Situated in a tranquil timber esplanade with water all around, the Mare Nostrum restaurant is relaxation personified. The menu consists of varied flavours with a delectable range of light meals serve à la carte, ranging from fish, soups, tapas, starters and grilled meats, pastas and specialties. The restaurant opens seasonally with summer months being opened.
Fusion Restaurant
A new concept of à la carte is delivered by The Lake Spa Resort’s Fusion Restaurant. Seasonal flavours that recreates Portugal’s traditional cuisine that pays tribute to local gastronomy bursting with flavour. The food is enriched with wine pairings that a special wine consultant proposes for each moment of the experience. Food ranges from unique starters, soups & broths, seafood, to vegetarian, pastas and risottos.
The Blue Lagoon
Under an alfresco deck near the private lake resides the Blue Lagoon Bar, inspired by the rich colour of the above skies and surrounding bodies of water. Serving simple bar snacks and refreshing drinks in warmer months, the Blue Lagoon Bar offers relaxation away from the main resort complex.
The Zanzi Bar
The Zanzi Bar at The Lake Spa Resort offers indulgent African adventure where the magical setting extends onto an outdoor terrace. With views of the lake and garden, refreshing drinks and bar food is offered year-round and the bar is a favourite with travelling golfers.

Practice your Golf Game
The Dom Pedro golf courses each have practice facilities and some courses share driving ranges. Be sure to depart the Lake Spa Resort a little bit earlier to get a good practice in before your round, or simply take a shuttle to a driving range for the afternoon and better your golf game.

The Spa at The Lake Spa Resort in Vilamoura is phenomenal. You can embark on a journey around the world from the one spot within the spa. Treatments range from manicures and pedicures, to hydrotherapy, massages, oriental therapies, body & face care, signature treatments from Asia, Africa, Oceania, America & Europe. Non-golfers will love the Spa treatments on offer; if you don’t play golf, you will likely spend more time at The Spa than your partner will on the golf course!
Gym
Guests at The Lake Spa Resort will enjoy 24-hour access to the gym. Featuring a large space with free weights, yoga mats, cardio machines and much more, you will be able to focus on any muscle group to better your golf game and general fitness.
Pools
The Lake Spa Resort has three outdoor swimming pools, with one of those having a natural sand base to emulate the ocean. Another of those pools is heated seasonally, whilst the remaining pool is left to its own natural heating devices which is appreciated during all seasons.
Wine Tasting
The Algarve region is famous for producing world-class wines comprising of reds, whites, rosé & liqueurs. The sun shines on the Algarve more than 3,000 hours a year, with the wines producing a robust flavour that is unique in the industry. You can take a guided excursion to Silves, one of the oldest cities in Portugal. The inland city has a well preserved historical heritage and is home to eight wine producers. A half-day tour is a spectacular idea after a round of golf.
Excursions
The Algarve has more to offer than sun, golf and beaches. If you are interested in history, culture and the region, we can assist you with various tours. 500 years of history in the Algarve from the 8th to 11th centuries AD, where Moorish presence in Al Gharb (Arabic for ‘West’), left a strong legacy that manifested throughout the centuries to create what the Algarve is today. We recommend a tour of Eastern Algarve, through Faro, Tavira and Vila Real de Santo Antonio. A Western tour consists of mountain routes and the west coast, exploring Silves, Monchique and Aljezur. Cities, culture, food, wine and adventure really puts the icing on the cake of your golf trip.
Sail Boats
You will have the option to spend an afternoon or whole day out at sea when you aren’t playing golf. Sail boats or relax as others do the driving for you. Options range from 3-hour cruises, self-drive rental boats to a full-day tour with BBQ lunch.
How to Get There
The Lake Spa Resort is situated in the central Algarve region of Southern Portugal. It is just 28-minutes’ drive from Faro International Airport, and 15-minutes from nearby township of Almancil. With 20 golf courses within 60-minutes’ drive, the Lake Spa Resort is as central as you can get to Portuguese golf.
