Day 1, Thursday 02 October 2025 – Arrivals (D)

  • Arrive and transfer to the Royal Hawaiian Resort for 3 nights. Known as the Pink Palace, this is one of the most famous hotels in Hawaii. With an undisrupted beachfront location, we could not get a better location to start this Hawaiian adventure.
    • We recommend booking your flight to arrive by 1PM as we have a group transfer at 14.00. We can private transfers at extra cost if you are arriving outside this time.
  • This evening you are officially invited to our welcome dinner with drinks included. Venue TBA.

Day 2, Friday 03 Oct – Golf (B, L)

  • After breakfast at your leisure, we’ll meet in the lobby ready to kickstart this golfing adventure. We start with a round of golf on the North Shore’s Turtle Bay Resort Palmer Course. Designed by the late Arnold Palmer (aka The King), this golf course put Hawaii on the golfing map.
  • Non-golfers: Free day in Waikiki to shop & relax by the beach, or visit Ala Moana Shopping Centre.
  • After lunch, we’ll head to the main resort overlooking Turtle Bay for lunch before returning to Waikiki for an evening spent at your leisure.

Day 3, Saturday 04 Oct – Golf (B)

  • For our second round, we’re heading for the hills behind Waikiki. We’re playing Royal Hawaii Golf Course, designed by Pete Dye. This is one of Hawaii’s trickiest golf courses and resembles something out of Jurassic Park. Bring plenty of golf balls and a camera – this golf course captures the essence of golfing in Hawaii.
  • Non-golfers: Take an Oahu Circle Island Tour, to discover key sites around Oahu including The North Shore, Dole Plantation and various scenic lookouts.
  • The afternoon and evening are free to spend at your leisure. This is our final night in Oahu so enjoy your evening.

Day 4, Sunday 05 Oct – Travel (B, WD)

  • After breakfast at your leisure, we’ll meet in the lobby ready for our transfer to the island of Hawaii, known as ‘The Big Island.’ Here we’ll check into the Westin Hapuna Beach for five nights of seaside bliss.
  • After checking in and unpacking, we formally invite you to join us by the poolside bar for a welcome drink on us. Afterwards, the evening is free to spend at your leisure.

Day 5, Monday 06 Oct – Golf (B)

  • Our first round of golf on The Big Island is at Mauna Lani’s South Course. This classic seaside golf course was built in 1990 and features a famous par-3 over the ocean. The fairways are built upon 16th century lava flows. As you can imagine, the scenery is amazing so take a camera!
  • Non-golfers: Free day to enjoy the Resort & stunning beaches

Day 6, Tuesday 07 Oct – Optional Golf, Rest (B)

  • Today we have two options for you:
    1. Rest Day, spent relaxing by the pool, beach or perhaps doing some washing and enjoying the Resort facilities.
    2. Play Hapuna Beach Golf Course. Designed by Arnold Palmer and Ed Seay, this golf course opened in 1992 and is a popular track amongst visitors. Although it is not a championship layout, playing this course is incredibly fun with severe elevation changes, excellent course conditioning and world-class views over the Pacific Ocean. There is a fee of USD 180 to play this course with carts included. Please let us know at the time of booking if you’d like to add this in to guarantee availability.

Day 7, Wednesday 08 Oct – Sightseeing (B)

  • Today we have a special tour. Gather in the lobby for a trip to the centre of Hawaii. This area is home to the largest volcano in the State: Mauna Loa. It is also home to the most active volcano in the world: Kilauea. The high elevation means it will be cooler up top, but we will see some lava along with million-year-old flows. The scenes up there are other-worldly.
  • This trip will also visit the east side of the Big Island, with a town called ‘Hilo’, which means ‘Twist’ in the native Hawaiian language. This town receives 10 feet of rain each year, and is the wettest town in the country. The climate is extremely different from the west side of the island as you’ll discover.
  • The evening is free to spend at the Resort or nearby. We suggest you try the Meridia Restaurant, offering the finest Mediterranean cuisine within The Westin.

Day 8, Thursday 09 Oct – Golf (B)

  • After breakfast at your leisure, we head to a golf course which is a personal favourite of ours: Mauna Kea, named after one of the volcanoes on this island. This golf course has a signature par-3 third hole which plays over the ocean. Designed by Robert Trent Jones Snr, this is one of the original golf courses on the Island and has been a stalwart of Hawaii’s golf scene from the start.
  • Non-golfers: Enjoy a spa day at the Mauna Kea Salon & Spa with a massage included.
  • After golf, enjoy an afternoon at your leisure. Our tour leaders will head down to the nearby Mauna Kea Beach Hotel for dinner (not included), and there is an open invitation to join us as we dine at this exclusive beachfront resort. This is our final night on the Big Island so please enjoy!

Day 9, Friday 10 Oct – Travel (B)

  • After a relaxing break on the Big Island, it’s time to head to our final stop. We fly to Kauai, to check into the Koa Kea Resort on the southern side of the Island. You may have noticed a pattern by now, the northern side of each island in Hawaii is extremely wet compared to the southern coastlines. This is due simply to the nature of the weather patterns, elevation changes and geography of the archipelago.
  • Upon arrival, we’ll check into the Koa Kea Beach Resort for six nights. We have stayed at this Resort back on our first Hawaii Tour and the feedback was outstanding, so it was an easy decision to return in 2025.
  • After settling in, we formally invite you to the pool bar for our official welcome drink to toast a new destination on tour. Have a couple of drinks on us before an evening spent at your leisure.

Day 10, Saturday 11 Oct – Optional Golf, Rest (B)

  • Today we have two options for you:
    • Rest Day, spent relaxing by the pool, beach or perhaps doing some washing and enjoying the Resort facilities.
    • Play the Puakea Golf Course. Designed by Robert Nelson, this tropical parkland course is situated on 200 acres of lush undulating land with stunning mountain backdrops. If you like playing golf in tropical landscapes, this is the course for you. Expect forested areas with elevation changes and a fantastic all-round experience. There is a fee of USD 185 to play this course with carts and transfers included. Please let us know at the time of booking if you’d like to add this in to guarantee availability.

Day 11, Sunday 12 Oct – Golf (B)

  • After breakfast at your leisure, we head to the north side of the Island to play Princeville Makai Golf Course. This is one of the top-rated golf courses on Kauai. This course opened in 1971, originally designed by Robert Trent Jones Snr and redesigned in 2009. The Golf Club is operated by Troon Golf. Located next to the ocean, the views are spectacular, even if you have a bad score there is still reason to smile!
  • Non-golfers: Enjoy a cruise along the Wailua River, which offers a great way to see the island’s interior.
  • After golf, we’ll enjoy a drink at the club before returning to the south side of the Island for an evening at your leisure.

Day 12, Monday 13 Oct – Sightseeing (B)

  • It’s time to rest after golf, so today we have a day tour to see one of Hawaii’s famous sites: Waimea Canyon. This is the ‘Grand Canyon’ of Hawaii, having been formed by lava flows over 5 million years ago. It is a massive area (18-miles wide), with its own micro-climate; it has the highest elevation swamp in the world. Take a camera and enjoy the sheer cliffs and waterfalls.
  • We’ll stop for lunch on the way, making this an all-day excursion.
  • This evening is free to spend at your leisure. Our tour leaders may organise a transfer to another resort or restaurant area so you can enjoy some variety for dinner.

Day 13, Tuesday 14 Oct – Golf (B)

  • For our second last round of golf, we head to the nearby Ocean Course at Hokuala. Designed by the Golden Bear Jack Nicklaus, this ethos in this design matches the Island: “I think of Kauai as a laid-back tropical paradise. The island is more quaint and less commercial than Oahu and Maui. I put forth my best effort in the design process. The quality of conditioning, maintenance, and playing experience is important to me.” The par-3 16th hole is a signature masterpiece so bring your camera.
  • Non-Golfers: Free day to relax at the Resort
  • After golf, enjoy a drink at the Clubhouse before returning for an evening at your leisure. Perhaps a sunset swim at the Resort pool or beach?

Day 14, Wednesday 15 Oct – Golf (B, FD)

  • For our final round of golf, we saved one of the very best for last. We’ll head for Poipu Bay Golf Course, which is not far from the Resort. Designed by Robert Trent Jones Jnr, this golf course occupies a very special tract of land overlooking the Pacific Ocean. It is dramatic, exhilarating and features some of the finest views any golf course can offer. Enjoy this fantastic experience as it is the climax of our Hawaiian Adventure!
  • Non-Golfers: Visit the Kilauea Lighthouse and Wildlife Refuge, including the Kauai Museum which showcases the island’s rich heritage.
  • After golf, we’ll return to the Resort before freshening up for our official farewell dinner (venue TBA). Here we’ll present the tour prizes for our friendly competition & enjoy some final battle stories about this amazing adventure in shared company.

Day 15, Thursday 16 Oct – Departures (B)

  • This morning, enjoy breakfast at your leisure. When ready, we’ll meet in the lobby for a transfer to the airport. We’ll fly to Honolulu where you can fly directly home, or enjoy some extra time in Waikiki. Alternatively, you can enjoy some extra time in Kauai.
  • Our travel services finish with our transfer to the airport and flight to Oahu.
    • Please book your return flight from Honolulu after 13.00PM. We will leave the Resort at 08.30 to get a 10AM flight to Honolulu, allowing you plenty of time to connect on Honolulu for your onward flight. If you want to book a connecting flight from Kauai, this works the same way.

If you’d like extra nights or travel services, please request when booking so we can organise it as early as possible for the best rates.

Of course you can. Our tours are specifically designed so non-golfing partners enjoy the trip as much as their golfing partners. Our hotels are always central to towns and popular activities. We also create non-golfer itineraries that are crafted with the interests of the non-golfers in mind and that means we consult with you before we book any non-golfer activity.

No, our golf tours are accepting of all golfers. Depending on the destination, some golf courses require you to have a certain handicap, and this will be expressed prior to any booking confirmation. Otherwise, you are welcome to join our golf tour as they are always inclusive.

Escorted golf tours are one of the most enjoyable types of holidays. Our groups are small and everyone gets to know each other on a first-name basis early-on in the tour.

On a golf day, breakfast is usually taken between 6:30 - 08.30, and our first tee-times are usually mid-morning. This allows for the early risers and late-goers to enjoy a two-hour period for breakfast. We like to keep the afternoons free for sightseeing, resort relaxation, shopping or general downtime. We usually restrict each day to having one activity, whether it's a half-day tour or round of golf, it's usually quite relaxed.

Apart from the welcome dinner and farewell dinner, we usually keep evenings free to enjoy whichever destination you are in. If you are travelling by yourself, the tour leaders have an open invitation to dine with them; if this is the case, you're in for a real treat as the tour leaders know where to go for the best meals. We always stay in destinations where local restaurants are either a short walk or short transfer away, so there are plenty of options to dine.

Over the decades, our tours average the following guest ratio: 70% couples, 30% singles. Our tours are comprised on average of 55% male and 45% female. One fact we are proud of is that our tours enjoy an average of 70% or higher repeat guest rate.

Absolutely. We are firm believers in travelling safely and with transparency. See our full list of accreditation here.

We are very transparent with our pricing. The easiest way to compare costs is to take the tour cost and divide it by the number of nights on the tour. Then, compare this per-night rate with other operators' tours. You'll find that some operators use the number of days to inflate numbers but the industry uses the nightly rate as the correct basis.

If you are trying to compare two tours, do the above equation and compare other factors including:

  • Number of people (big tours mean less per person costs, but travelling as part of a large group isn't always as fun)
  • Included activities
  • Quality of golf courses on the tour
  • Location of Hotels & quality of Hotels (are they near restaurants or do you have to catch a taxi to the closest restaurant?)

Voyages.golf has market-leading prices due to our long-established relationships with suppliers. We go out of the way to secure the best deals for our tours to bring costs down but also provide a sensational experience to maximise comfort and enjoyment for all participants. If you have any doubts or are comparing the costs between operators, feel free to let us know and we'll talk you through it.
