    Golf Course Information

    Wailea Gold Course

Measuring 7,070 Yards / 6,465 Metres, the Wailea Beach Gold Course has a par of 72 and features a uniquely Hawaiian resort layout. It opened in 1994 and was designed by Robert Trent Jones Junior. Being a classic Trent-Jones course, it takes full advantage of the natural landscape, featuring wide open fairways on the longer holes and challenging par-3’s. The terrain changes can be dramatic, especially with the large flat-bottomed bunkers protecting the greens; many of which are raised. Nearby views of Mount Haleakala and the Pacific Ocean provide Wailea’s Gold Course with a real sense of rugged beauty.

    Wailea Emerald Course

Dubbed ‘Wailea’s Tropical Playground,’ the Emerald Course has been awarded a Top Fairways Award by Golf for Women magazine a total of seven times. Ideal for golfers of all levels due to various tee-box options, the course has a par of 72 and measures 6,825 Yards / 6,241 Metres from the tips. Though not as short as the Blue Course, the Emerald is considered more forgiving with fewer elevation changes than the Gold Course. It was designed by Robert Trent Jones Junior and features fragrant tropical foliage, numerous ocean and mountain vistas and carpet-like fairways. It is the all-rounder course, the most playable and often the most enjoyable for the weekend golfer!

    Wailea Blue Course

Designed by Arthur Jack  Snyder and known as ‘The Grand Lady of Wailea,’ the Blue Course is located on the lower slopes of Mount Haleakala, offering lush green landscapes and beautiful views of the mountain and Pacific Ocean. Measuring 6,797 Yards / 6,215 Metres, the Blue Course has a par of 72. Hailing from an era where character played as much as a role in defining a course layout as playability does now, the course exudes charm, offering a true Hawaiian layout and picturesque fairways. It has the best location of all three Wailea courses, being at the foothills of Mount Haleakala, the holes are often doglegged and blind shots to narrow fairways are required. An exhilarating round awaits all golfers on the Wailea Blue Course.
