TPC Sawgrass Stadium Course is one of the most filmed golf courses on the tour, and for good reason. Golf Digest ranked it 48th among “America’s 100 Greatest Golf Courses for 2019-2020″ and ranked the Stadium Course 12th overall among “America’s 100 Greatest Public Golf Courses” in 2017-2018. Golf Digest ranked the Stadium Course the No. 2 “Best Course You Can Play in the State of Florida”. The course lies next to the Marriott Sawgrass Resort, which is our recommended choice of accommodations when visiting the Ponte Vedra Beach area.
Working with renowned golf course architect Pete Dye, Commissioner Deane Beman created a course design that favoured no particular player or style of play. The result is a truly balanced course. Players find a selection of short, medium and long holes within the categories of par-3s, par-4s and par-5s; both right and left doglegs; and a course routing laid out, so no two consecutive holes ever play in the same direction. With its signature island green on the par-3, 17th hole being one of the most recognised in golf, this legendary track has captured the imagination of golf fans all over the world and is consistently named among the top golf courses worldwide. While the 17th hole gets a lot of attention, the 18th hole on this golf course – a 462-yard, par 4 guarded by water down the left side, is a formidable finishing hole.
The Player’s Stadium Course is honestly a very challenging round of eighteen holes. The combined mix of power and precision around small greens and large water hazards means that to score your par, shots cannot be missed. The only reconciliation the challenge has is the range of tee-boxes available to play. Golfers can choose their tee’s which makes the course playable for the average hitters. This is a course that should be on everyone’s bucket list, and it remains one of the most famous and most filmed golf courses in any major tournament, especially the 17th.

The Mediterranean-Style, 77,000 square foot clubhouse at TPC Sawgrass is a majestic centrepiece for the club, providing TOUR-standard hospitality to members and guests alike. Performance Center
Located at the expansive practice grounds adjacent to Pete Dye’s renowned Stadium Course, home of The Player’s Championship, the PGA Tour’s Performance Center at TPC Sawgrass offers a variety of individual programs integrating instruction, fitness, club fitting, and playing strategy to improve performance and lower scores. Led by world-renowned golf instructor Todd Anderson, the PGA TOUR’s Performance Center team will assess all aspects of your game with the latest technology and develop a specific plan to help you reach your goals. Players of all levels will benefit from this world-class experience.
As part of the largescale renovations to TPC Sawgrass, the Performance Center officially opened May 22, 2017 with vast improvements in effort to make it the leading instructional facility in golf. Among the changes to the structure itself include the addition of a second story, two more hitting bays, expanded club fitting program and new training/fitness room.
Clubhouse Cuisine
NINETEEN features a creative array of freshly prepared American and Continental cuisine in a warm, inviting ambiance. Menus change seasonally to take advantage of the freshest local fare, with options ranging from pan-roasted Florida grouper, falafel “mignon” to short ribs and duck breast. The 2,550 square-foot restaurant’s outdoor veranda offers panoramic views of the expansive presentation lawn and both the 9th and 18th holes. NINETEEN is open to the public for casual dining breakfast, lunch and dinner seven days a week from 7:00 AM – 9:00 PM.
