Set on Fiji’s Coral Coast, the Natadola Bay Golf Course overlooks the Pacific Ocean. The golf course is located on the country’s largest island of Viti Levu’s south-west coast, just 60-minutes’ drive from Nadi International Airport. Natadola Bay Championship Golf Course was designed by Heritage Golf, along with Vijay Sing and Greg Letsche. The site was home to the Fiji International tournament until 2018, but the course remains world-class in terms of challenge, quality and excitement. Natadola is the best golf course in Fiji, along with Denarau Golf and Racquet Club. Set on Fiji’s Viti Levu’s south-west coast, Natadola Bay Golf Course is an aesthetic marvel. The parkland course incorporates the ocean into backdrops throughout 15 of its 18 holes. World-class golf course architecture is blended dramatic coastal scenery with rolling hills, shallow coral shorelines and the deep blue outer Pacific Ocean. Originally designed to host the annual Fiji International golf tournament, Natadola Bay is a challenge that was only meant for professionals upon its inception. Changes to holes 10-18 in 2010 by Vijay Singh and Greg Letchse saw the course play more favourably to amateurs while retaining its world-class standing.
Multiple tees allow the golf course to be played by golfers of all levels. Golf carts are included in green fee rates due to long distances between holes, and hotter year-round weather. The golf course draws on contemporary U.S. design traits with its longer fairways, sculpted greens and diverse bunkering. The experience is enhanced by the variation in elevation levels throughout most holes; wise club selection is vital to scoring well; however, golfers will be sure to enjoy the scenery if they don’t score well.
Practice Facilities
The golf practice facilities at Natadola Bay are world-class thanks to the site originally being developed for tournaments. Facilities consist of a large 9-hole putting green, all-grass driving range with target holes, a short-game area with three greenside bunkers and one medium-range bunker. The practise facilities feature ocean views so you can feel good about your game regardless of how you are hitting them.
Clubhouse & Pro Shop
Build in the architectural style of the South-Pacific, Natadola Bay’s golf clubhouse is iconic. Its dominating central building has a roof that dwarfs the landscape. Inside, golfers will find a world-class restaurant with open-air dining and views over the eighteenth hole and nearby ocean. The golf shop at Natadola Bay is a large area stocking the best golf brands and featuring Natadola-branded merchandise so you can take home souvenirs.
