Situated just 36-km from Ho Chi Minh City, the Long Thanh Golf Club offers panoramic views in every direction. The Club is a combination of a 36-hole golf facility with Driving Range, Clubhouse, Pro-Shop, Restaurant, lockers and luxurious villas. Its location is ideal for those staying in Ho Chi Minh City, otherwise known as Saigon. Designed by Ron Fream and David Dale, the course is highly coveted by publications such as Asian Golf Magazine Golf Digest. With overhead lighting, you can have the rare opportunity to play golf at night at the Long Tanh Golf Club. The staff, facilities and caddy services at Long Thanh is world-class and should not go unrecognised. The Hill Course at Long Thanh Estate offers 18-holes of championship golf. It features rolling fairways and subtly undulating greens, with holes that wind their way through a palm plantation and artificial lakes with some waterfalls and other enthralling features. It has a par of 72 and total length of 7,047 Yards & 6,444 Metres. The rough at Long Thanh does not pose much of a challenge because it is trimmed short, whilst the natural rainfall makes the golf course look fantastic year-round.
The Lake Course at Long Thanh features an enormous amount of water and bunkers. The risk/reward shots are fun but can be very punishing with the slightest mis-hit. Greens subtly undulate to make the nearby bunkers and water hazards even more difficult to score a par on the green because often you have to land on the right tier of green to hole out. The challenge is fun on the Lake Course at Long Thanh Golf Club.
The Long Thanh Golf Club features the full suite of golf amenities because it is a residential estate after all. The Pro Shop has fantastic up-to-date merchandise including clothes, bags, accessories, shoes, golf clubs and waterproofs. Well-trained staff are also on-hand to assist with all your golfing needs. The Clubhouse at Long Thanh also features men’s and women’s lockers, rental services, pop-up stands and a restaurant. The restaurant is informal and features delicious cuisine that showcases a wide variety of both Western & Asian dishes. A wide range of beverages is also available from the restaurant and golf cart service.
The practice facilities at Long Thanh is fantastic, with a putting green and practice bunker that will prove invaluable on both courses, a full-length driving range and each surface is the same grass as found on the golf course, so you can warm-up properly.
