In one of the most unique settings in Vietnam, Hilltop Valley Golf Club snakes through valleys dwarfed by mountains and dense jungle. A 27-hole championship complex, Hilltop Valley offers expansive views over Ba Vi mountain range and the Da River. The biggest challenges lie in the dramatic elevation changes and dense jungle. The complex is completely new, having opened in 2019 for play, but it has already carved out a reputation as being one of Vietnam’s northern premier golf destinations. When you visit Hilltop Valley Golf Club, a very different experience will greet you. The Hilltop Valley Golf Club features on our Luxury Vietnam Golf Tour that also includes the nearby Stone Valley and Sky Lake golf courses.
A refreshing change of pace from your typical golf course layout, Hilltop Valley Golf Course has a par of 71, and features two contrasting nines. The first meanders through a lush valley with dense foliage enclosing on the fairways, whilst a stream snakes its way through the course and is a hazard that often creates havoc for golfers’ scorecards. The back nine brings dramatic elevation changes with high ridges, overhanging rock and steep inclines all superimposed onto an outline of distant mountains.
Making the fairways and greens consistently will separate the calibre of golfers playing at Hilltop Valley, as accuracy is demanded from the first hole. The greens are not as difficult as approaching them, so year-round the consistency in quality is absolute. Two very distinct nines contrast to give you an exhilarating 18-holes of golf, while there is another 9-hole course that makes a fantastic day-long exercise of 27-holes.
Being a very new complex, the Hilltop Valley Golf Club facilities are fantastic and modern. The clubhouse is positioned to give you panoramic views of the golf course whilst you dine on an eclectic choice of local and international delicacies. The terrace is also a great option to have a drink or snack whilst you watch your friends finish their round. A private dining room caters to guests of up to 25, so group-golf is well-catered for at Hilltop Valley Golf Club. They also have kiosks on the 4th and 15th holes with air conditioning and free Wi-Fi should you wish to share a few photos of the course whilst having a snack. Upmarket locker rooms and a well-stocked Pro Shop complete the Clubhouse.
The practice facilities at Hilltop Valley Golf Club consist of a full-length driving range, a chipping area with practice bunker and a putting green. The grass and conditions are exactly as you would find on the golf course so you can warm-up in the correct fashion before your round.
