Opening in 2017, the FLC Ha Long Bay Golf Course is located just twenty minutes from Ha Long City and three hours from Hanoi. Designed by Schmidt Curley, who also designed Mission Hills Blackstone Course and French Link Resort, the Ha Long Bay Golf Course offers tranquil scenery and world-class golf, along with unparalleled service. The golf course is about 90 minutes from Haiphong and the Vinpearl Golf complex. The par-71 golf course can be categorised as parkland due to the abundant foliage around the course, as well as the composition of its fairways and greens. Paspalum turf has been utilised from tees to greens to ensure world-class playing conditions year-round. Your focus when playing FLC Ha Long Bay Golf Club should be on the scenery and making the most out of your visit. There is a range of challenges to test every calibre of golfer, but your focus should be on the scenery. The course has five par three holes which make a round there especially fun. Four holes directly face Ha Long Bay, while others play around cliffs and valleys. In what is a dramatically scenic golf course, FLC Ha Long Bay combines lush forests with rock outcrops, bay views and substantial elevation changes.
As you arrive from main roads, the town is hidden from view. It is the same as you arrive to Ha Long Bay Golf Course; you don’t fully appreciate the scale of grandeur associated with the golf course until you tee off on the first hole. The signature hole is the par-five 12th, which features a 555-metre bonanza that also has a 40-meter elevation drop; be sure to keep your three-wood close by. FLC Ha Long Bay Golf Club has many memorable golf holes, but the most photo-worthy are two par-threes (8 & 12), which offer sweeping views over the UNESCO World Heritage site of Ha Long Bay.
