The links golf course draws direct influence from traditional Scottish and Irish links courses but features a very Australian aesthetic that makes the renowned course its own force in the world of golf. Visiting golfers can stay on-site from a selection of Ocean Villas, Cottages or Bunker Villas. A bump-and-run strategy is essential at The Dunes course, with wide fairways and more undulations than flat surfaces, strategy reigns king. Uniquely Australian features come in the form of native Australian grasses, more sand than green grass, and a golden hue shining for eight months of the year. Practice Facilities
Barnbougle’s Dunes course has top-quality golf amenities including a range of putting greens, full-length driving range and a chipping green with bunkers. A small fee is required for range balls. Teaching professionals are available on request and are ideal for learning about how to adapt to links golf if you are visiting for a few days.
Clubhouse
The Dunes Clubhouse overlooks the ninth and 18th holes and Barnbougle Beach. The modern building features a fully licensed bar and restaurant that serves contemporary cuisine sourced from local ingredients, open from breakfast to dinner each day.
