There is no event in golf quite like the Masters Tournament. Every April, the world’s greatest players gather to compete for the iconic Green Jacket in a championship defined by tradition, excellence and some of the most unforgettable moments in the game. From the blooming azaleas and pristine fairways to the famous roars that ripple across the course, the Masters is an experience that captures the imagination of golfers and fans alike. For many, attending the Masters is the ultimate golfing pilgrimage, a bucket-list event where history is made and legends are crowned. Whether it’s your first visit or a long-awaited return, the atmosphere, hospitality and theatre of tournament week are unlike anything else in sport.
Stay Tuesday – Friday in Augusta. Attend the Practice Day (Wednesday) and opening day (Thursday) with return shuttles to The Course.
Stay 2 nights, Wednesday – Friday, attending Thursday and Friday before the weekend cut with return shuttles to The Tournament.
Stay 3 nights, Friday – Monday with Weekend Tickets for Saturday and Sunday with return tournament shuttles.
Stay 5 nights, Wednesday – Monday, attending all four tournament days with return tournament shuttles.
Stay 4 nights, Thursday – Monday with 1 round of golf and 2 day at The Tournament. Play Saturday, attend Friday and Sunday with return transfers throughout.
Stay 5 nights, Wednesday – Monday with tee-times Thursday and Friday, attending The Tournament Saturday and Sunday with return transfers.

This is an independent travel package. Rather than travelling with a dedicated Voyages.golf tour host, each service throughout your journey has been carefully arranged with our trusted local partners, who will look after you every step of the way.
Golf & Transfers
All golf rounds include the required ground transportation between your accommodation and the golf course (unless otherwise stated). Tee times, transfer schedules and all relevant booking details will be provided in your final travel documents.
Local Support
Comprehensive travel documentation, including local emergency and supplier contact numbers, will be issued prior to departure. Our local partners are available to assist with your arrangements on the ground, while the Voyages.golf team remains available from Australia should you require additional assistance before or during your trip.

Obtaining tickets to The Masters, one of the most prestigious golf tournaments held at Augusta National Golf Club, can be a unique process. Please note, there are limited tickets available through the lottery. Most tickets become available through resellers and operators who attain their tickets from patrons who receive face-value tickets each year. Verifying your tickets can be a difficult process so please exercise caution if dealing with a 'friend' who says they can get tickets, or an unrecognised operator. Here are the steps to consider if you want to attend.
1. Visit the Official Masters Website: Check the official Masters Tournament website (https://www.masters.com/) for the most up-to-date information on ticket sales, policies, and procedures.
2. Explore Ticket Options: The Masters offers various ticket options, including Practice Round tickets and Tournament tickets. Practice Round tickets are usually available for the Monday, Tuesday, and Wednesday leading up to the tournament, while Tournament tickets are for the actual competition days (Thursday to Sunday).
3. Check for Ticket Lotteries: The Masters uses a lottery system for ticket sales. Keep an eye on the official website for announcements regarding the opening of the ticket application process. The lottery system allows you to enter for a chance to purchase tickets.
4. Apply for the Lottery: You can apply for tickets at www.masters.com, and follow the instructions on the website to apply. This may include providing payment information even before knowing if you've won the chance to purchase tickets.
5. Contact a Golf Operator: If you're unable to secure tickets through the official channels, you can explore reputable secondary ticket markets. Keep in mind that prices on secondary markets can be higher than face value.
6. Beware of Scams: Due to the high demand for Masters tickets, be cautious of scams and 'friends of friends' who claim to be able to access tickets. Stick well-known operators to ensure the authenticity of your tickets. Here at Voyages.golf, we've been taking clients to The Masters for decades.
There are two places we recommend you stay during your visit to The Masters. The tournament is held on Washington Road. About 1 mile to the west is a small cluster of accommodation including The Quality Inn & Suites, Staybridge Suites, Country Inn & Suites, and Wingate Augusta Hotels. These are the closest to the tournament. If you stay at these hotels, you can walk to the Golf Club.
If you want to stay in the main town, it takes a little longer to get to the tournament but it is only 5 miles east of Augusta, along Washington Road. The best hotels to stay at include the Marriott Augusta Convention Centre, The Partridge Inn and the Holiday Inn. There are more restaurants available, but it is further from the tournament, and transfers are required.

Due to the unregulated ticket market, securing tickets through the lottery is extremely difficult and that makes the scarcity of patron's tickets something to be wary of due to the high amount of scams. Adding to the issue is limited accommodation Augusta which is a small town. We don't recommend organizing your own trip due to these reasons. It is always best to seek your hotel and ticket package from an operator like Voyages.golf. It is much easier for you that way, because you don't have to worry about scams, and everything is arranged for you including transfers, play-golf experiences and we'll even make dinner reservations for the group.
