    Golf Course Information

For anyone looking for an Okanagan golf experience, a visit to Predator Ridge Resort should be at the top of the list. With 36-holes of championship golf and a golf resort community of over 700 homeowners, it’s no wonder that Predator Ridge is known as Canada’s premier golf resort community and one of the best golf resorts in North America.

    Predator Course

Designed by legendary course architect Les Furber, The Predator Course offers a challenge for every level of player and is one of the best offerings of golf in Canada. The rolling hills, long grasses and undulating greens make for a truly unforgettable golf experience. At par 71, the Predator course is 6,432 Metres / 7,034 Yards & opened in 1991.

The course plays more like a links layout, with long grasses, undulating hills, wide fairways and a noticeable lack of trees. But the inclusion of a large lake, with flat, wide bunkers, brings down the links-feel to create hybrid-like course that is both a challenge and fun. The conditions of the course are fantastic and meticulously maintained, and the greens run true.

    Ridge Course

Opened in 2010, the Ridge Course was designed by renowned course architect Doug Carrick and has quickly become known as one of Canada’s best golf courses. A challenging but playable course taking advantage of the natural topography of the area, the Ridge Course is defined by incredible vistas, long, scenic fairways and beautiful granite rock outcroppings. The course has a par of 72, and is longer than its counterpart, coming in at 6,518 metres / 7,128 yards.

The routing of the Ridge course takes advantage of the site’s elevation changes to locate some lofty tee positions, at the same time minimising the number of tough, uphill holes that all golfers hate. The course plays in a loose parkland layout, with more wide-open fairways and less trees than usual, but with the terrain changes and the remaining trees making up in height where they lack in numbers. The quality of bunkers and greens on the course is phenomenal, and there’s good reason why the course is among Canada’s best.

    Resort Facilities

    Practice Facilities

In 2013 the practice facilities were completely transformed by Doug Carrick to offer a little bit of everything and to take advantage of the expanse of land available between the starting holes of both courses. The transformation has created a larger teeing area (widened from 18 to 45 yards), whilst new target greens for golfers to aim at.

The short game area features a new 20,000 square foot putting green, which is one of the largest in Canada and allows golfers to practice a wide variety of putts. Also featured are a fairway that allows players to work on shots up to 50 yards, short grass areas where golfers can work on chip shots from off the putting surface as well as sand bunkers.

    How to Get There

Predator Ridge lies on the east side of British Columbia. The drive is almost 5-hours direct from Vancouver to the Resort, but there is the option of a 45-minute plane trip to Kelowna International Airport from Vancouver Airport. The Resort lies just a 40-minute drive from the town of Kelowna. Driving is very easy in Canada so we suggest you rent a car and make Predator Ridge either the first or last stop on a British Columbia golf tour.
