When to go
The ideal time to visit Perth for a golf holiday is during spring (September to November) and autumn (March to May). These seasons offer comfortable temperatures, usually ranging from 15°C to 25°C, and plenty of sunshine, making it perfect for golfing and outdoor activities. Spring is particularly beautiful, with blooming wildflowers adding vibrant colour to the natural surroundings, while autumn brings cooler, calm conditions for a more relaxed golfing experience. Summer (December to February) is also a good time for golf if you prefer warm weather, but be prepared for higher temperatures, often reaching between 30°C and 35°C. Early morning or late afternoon tee times are recommended during this period to avoid the midday heat. Winter (June to August) is cooler, with temperatures between 10°C and 20°C, and though it’s less busy, there can be occasional rain and lots of wind. Nevertheless, winter still offers enjoyable golfing, especially for those who prefer milder conditions and quieter courses.
