Voyages.golf was established by Glenn and Gayle Hedley, pioneers in the sports travel industry for over 40 years. Glenn began his career in the travel industry in the 1970s, originally working for Swissair, then Singapore Airlines. Gayle worked for the London Walkabout Club selling packaged tours around the world from the 1980s. They began a sports travel company called Events Travel in 1993 and have pioneered the industry from Australia ever since. Events Travel remains a leading independent sports travel provider globally.

Both avid golfers, their interests passed to their son Harry, who in 2018 started Voyages.golf as a new family-run travel company. Leisure golf sits in a different category to most sporting events, so only made sense for Harry, an avid golfer himself, to develop this new venture as a highly focused travel platform. Voyages.golf specializes in smaller group tours to high-end locations, as well as creating custom travel itineraries for self-led groups.
